Ethiopia’s State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mesganu Arga Moach, met with Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, H.E. Sophia Nyamudeza, to discuss key issues of mutual interest, including the upcoming African Union Summit.
The meeting focused on deepening bilateral relations, with both sides highlighting their shared commitment to Pan-Africanism. Ambassador Mesganu spoke about the important role both nations have played in promoting the continent’s unity and progress.
The diplomats also agreed to convene the second Joint Ministerial Commission meeting later this year to strengthen cooperation in various sectors.
Ambassador Nyamudeza commended Ethiopia’s efforts to foster peace in the Horn of Africa, particularly in Sudan, South Sudan, and Somalia, where Ethiopia has been actively involved in peace initiatives.
