WASHINGTON, Jan 13 — The U.S. State Department has approved the sale of military helicopters to Zambia, valued at $100 million. The Pentagon announced the decision on Monday, detailing the foreign military sale as part of ongoing defense cooperation.
The deal includes Bell 412 Enhanced Performance Exportable Medium-Lift Transport Helicopters, along with logistics and program support. Bell Textron, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, has been named as the principal contractor for the transaction.
