Ambassador Gladys Neven Lundwe, Zambia’s representative to Estonia, presented her Letters of Credence to Estonian President Alar Karis on December 11, 2024, at the Presidential Office in Tallinn.

The ceremony included an exchange of greetings between Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema and President Karis, delivered through the Ambassador. Discussions during the event centered on strengthening bilateral relations and fostering collaboration between the two countries.

Ambassador Lundwe raised Zambia’s energy challenges caused by a severe drought during the 2023-2024 farming season, which disrupted hydropower production and affected the economy. She encouraged Estonian energy companies to explore investment opportunities in Zambia as part of diversification efforts in the sector.
