Windhoek, Namibia – The Argentine Embassy in South Africa has announced a successful visit by Minister María Alejandra Vlek to Namibia from September 10 to 13. During her trip, Vlek met with high-level officials from the Namibian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Agriculture, fostering closer bilateral ties.

In addition to government meetings, Vlek engaged with local businesses, diplomatic representatives, and the Argentine community residing in Namibia. These interactions aimed to strengthen economic and cultural connections between the two countries.

A significant outcome of the visit is the planned visit of a Namibian delegation to Argentina in November. From November 4 to 8, representatives from the Directorate of Veterinary Services of Namibia will travel to Argentina to hold technical meetings with SENASA, the National Service of Agrifood Sanitary and Quality Control. The delegation will also visit productive establishments in Argentina, exploring potential areas for collaboration in the agricultural sector.
