Bali, Indonesia – Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini of the Kingdom of Eswatini today represented His Majesty the King at the Joint Leaders Session of the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum. The forum, held in Bali, brought together heads of state and government from across Africa.
In his statement, Prime Minister Dlamini reiterated Eswatini’s commitment to the principles of solidarity, cooperation, and mutual respect established at the Bandung Conference in 1955. He highlighted the alignment of the forum’s theme, “Bandung Spirit for Africa’s Agenda 2063,” with Eswatini’s development agenda and the aspirations of Africa as a whole.
The Prime Minister expressed particular interest in the forum’s focus on economic transformation, digital innovation, sustainable mining, and health. He emphasized the importance of development cooperation based on mutual benefit and the need to prioritize food security through sustainable agricultural practices.
Eswatini, Prime Minister Dlamini said, is committed to these themes and looks forward to building stronger partnerships with Indonesia and other global partners. He expressed confidence that through collaboration, Africa can achieve sustainable development and prosperity for all.
