Gaborone, Botswana – The Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) hosted a delegation from the Namibian Ministry of Industrialization and Trade on August 26, 2024, to showcase the Botswana Trade Portal (BTP).

The Namibian team sought to learn from the BTP’s experience as they develop their own trade information portal. The presentation provided a comprehensive overview of the BTP’s mandate, structure, and technological infrastructure.

Key government agencies, such as the Botswana Unified Revenue Services, Botswana Trade Commission, and Botswana Bureau of Standards, also participated in the session, sharing their valuable insights and contributions to the BTP’s success.
