UAE Ambassador Noura Mohammed Abdul Hamid Juma formally presented her credentials to Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs in a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Riga on August 13, 2024.
Juma conveyed greetings from UAE leaders, including President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. She extended their wishes for Latvia’s continued development and prosperity.
President Rinkēvičs responded with his own regards to the UAE leaders and expressed his hopes for further progress for the UAE. He assured Juma of Latvia’s support in her role and emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations.
During their meeting, Juma and Rinkēvičs discussed various areas of potential cooperation between the UAE and Latvia, aiming to enhance mutual interests and opportunities for both countries.
