Dubai – Emirates has announced plans to expand its fleet of upgraded Boeing 777 aircraft to Zurich and Riyadh, with the new configurations set to debut on October 1, 2024.
The airline will also be increasing the frequency of its retrofitted Boeing 777s to Geneva and Brussels, making these cities the first in its network to exclusively operate the revamped aircraft.
Geneva will be a pioneer in offering Emirates’ Premium Economy and refreshed Business Class cabins on all flights from September 22, 2024. Brussels will join the roster from October 9, 2024, with six weekly flights featuring the upgraded aircraft.
Emirates aims to serve 28 cities with its Premium Economy cabins by the end of the year. To date, 25 aircraft have undergone the refurbishment process, with an additional 17 scheduled for completion by December 2024.
