Warsaw – Poland has signed a $1.2 billion agreement with US defense giant Raytheon Technologies to manufacture components for Patriot air defense systems. The deal, announced Monday, marks a significant step in Warsaw’s efforts to strengthen its military capabilities.
The agreement will see Poland produce 48 Patriot M903 launch stations, with production set to take place within the country. Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz hailed the deal as a boost to the nation’s defense industry, hinting at potential for further collaborations in the future.
