Johannesburg – Mia le Roux, a 28-year-old model and marketing manager from Oudtshoorn, has been crowned Miss South Africa 2024. The glittering pageant finale took place at Sun Bet Arena in Tshwane on Saturday.

Le Roux, who is also pursuing a BCom Marketing degree, bested nine other finalists to claim the coveted title. Her journey to the crown included a standout performance on the reality show “Crown Chasers”.

Born in Sasolburg, Free State, Le Roux overcame a significant challenge early in life. Diagnosed with profound hearing loss at the age of one, she credits her community’s support for enabling her to receive necessary treatment. This experience has fueled her determination to break barriers and inspire others.

The newly crowned Miss South Africa has expressed her intention to use her platform to advocate for positive change and continue to be an inspiration to others.
