Accra, Ghana – The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Ghana last week convened a national dialogue to explore ways the UK-based Ghanaian diaspora can contribute to climate action in Ghana.
The initiative, dubbed ‘Diaspora 4 Climate (D4C) Action,’ followed extensive research on how the diaspora could actively participate in addressing climate challenges in their homeland. The dialogue aimed to share research findings, identify hurdles, and develop practical strategies to boost diaspora involvement.
GIPC CEO Yofi Grant, Head of Diaspora Investment Marina Lamptey, and Director of Diaspora Affairs Akwasi Awua Ababio were among key figures present at the event.
