Durban, South Africa – A major beauty industry event, My Beauty Expo (MBE) 2024, is set to take place in Durban from August 23 to 25, 2024. The event, aimed at global cosmetic industry professionals, promises to be a platform for networking, business deals, and showcasing the latest beauty trends.

MBE 2024 will be held at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre and will feature a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and online participation.

“My Beauty Expo 2024 is the only three-day cosmetics, manufacturing, and beauty exhibition in KZN, providing an excellent platform to grow the region’s economic muscle,” said Margaret Mouton, the expo’s founder.

The event will showcase a wide range of products and services, from cosmetics and toiletries to hair care, nails, spas, and natural and organic products. There will also be dedicated zones for ingredients, packaging, machinery, and Halal and Bumiputera cosmetics.

Beyond product displays, MBE 2024 will offer workshops, seminars, and fashion shows. A key highlight is the Science & Technology Pavilion, showcasing the latest innovations in the beauty industry.

“We look forward to showcasing the vibrant future of the beauty industry at My Beauty Expo 2024 and providing fresh new opportunities for African and global players,” said Mouton. “This event promises to be a fundamental meeting point for the global beauty community, thanks to its innovative hybrid format.”

MBE 2024 aims to attract both local and international buyers and distributors, creating opportunities for businesses to expand their markets. The expo also includes a business matchmaking program to facilitate connections between potential partners.

The event is expected to draw thousands of attendees, including beauty therapists, salon owners, hair stylists, and industry professionals.
