Accra, Ghana – May 20, 2024 – A delegation from the China-Africa Development Fund (CADFund), led by Vice President Yu Zhuorui, visited the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) on Monday.

CADFund, China’s premier investment vehicle for Africa, seeks to boost industrialization and sustainable development across the continent. Their visit aimed to explore potential investment opportunities in Ghana.

GIPC CEO Yofi Grant welcomed the delegation and highlighted the advantages of Ghana as an investment destination. He emphasized the country’s strategic location, improved trade infrastructure, skilled workforce, and business-friendly environment. Grant pledged the GIPC’s full support in facilitating CADFund’s potential investments within Ghana.

Discussions focused on key areas like infrastructure development, energy, mining, and social-economic projects. The meeting also saw participation from Edward-Ashong Lartey, GIPC’s Director of Investor Services, alongside representatives from both CADFund and the Centre’s Investor Services and Corporate Affairs divisions.
