South Africa’s Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (dtic) is celebrating Africa Month with a webinar series exploring the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Titled “30-Year Celebrations of the Liberation Journey towards Building the South Africa we Want,” the program highlights progress under the AfCFTA and encourages South African companies to participate in this continental market.
The webinars cover various topics relevant to AfCFTA implementation, including the importance of trade infrastructure, navigating the African supply chain, intellectual property rights, and Africa’s storytelling potential. These dates are set for the respective topics: May 9th, May 16th, May 23rd, and May 24th.
The online events offer valuable insights for businesses seeking to expand into Africa, leverage the AfCFTA framework, and tap into the continent’s growing trade potential. The dtic’s initiative aligns with the national Africa Month theme, celebrating 30 years of South African democracy and its commitment to strengthening continental economic ties.
