Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, has stated that Nigerians will continue to demand restructuring, ahead of the new administration’s inauguration on May 29.
There have been numerous calls for restructuring in Nigeria, which would bring the government closer to the grassroots.
Speaking on the election issues and personality tracking program Roadmap 2023 by Channels Television, Soyinka warned that the new government must focus on restructuring, or else its policies and programs would face serious challenges.
The professor stated that new and powerful voices were being heard, and that these voices were based on actualities and not just whining.
Failure to address these demands could lead to the failure of the government’s economic policies, infrastructure, and transformation efforts.
