During a recent interview with Beat FM, Afrobeats superstar Davido hinted at a possible musical collaboration with fellow superstar Wizkid.
The two artists have maintained a cordial relationship, and Davido revealed that they have ongoing conversations about a potential joint tour.
He also stated that a musical collaboration between the Afrobeats giants is hugely feasible, and he would be lying if he said it wasn’t in the works.
Davido said: “I would be lying to you if I tell you that [the tour] is not in the talks. It’s looking like next year. I think me and Wiz are probably going to drop a record. Shout out to my brother. He literally calls me every week and checks on me. Shout out to Wiz.”
Wizkid has also expressed his love for Davido and his desire to embark on a tour with him. Davido recently released his fourth studio album ‘Timeless,’ which features collaborations with several Nigerian and international artists.
