After casting his vote in the Borno State governorship and House of Assembly elections, Vice President-elect Senator Kashim Shettima assured Nigerians that a Bola Tinubu-led administration would be the result of broad consultations among various stakeholders in the country.
Shettima stated that Tinubu would approach governance humbly and without grandstanding.
Shettima emphasized the importance of the stability of the nation and said that it was not the time for the ruling party to gloat over their victory.
He stated that they would go around consulting with various stakeholders in the nation on the best ways to govern.
Regarding the conduct of the elections on Saturday, Shettima mentioned that the turnout may not have been as impressive as they would have liked, but the exercise was peaceful.
