The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has congratulated Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the recently concluded Nigerian election, and urged him to fulfill the expectations of Nigerians and the people of Africa.
In a statement released on Wednesday by the Palace Director of Media and Public Affairs, Otunba Moses Olafare, the Ooni described Tinubu as a man of destiny, a game changer, and a progressive workaholic who has the ability to lead Nigeria to a prominent position in the world.
The Ooni called on Tinubu to assemble a team of experts to develop an economic recovery plan and start working immediately after his inauguration on May 29th, 2023, to fulfill his promise of a “Renewed Hope” for Nigerians.
