Atiku leads in 11 Adamawa LGAs as Obi secures Numan

On Sunday evening, the collation of presidential election results was concluded in 12 out of the 21 local government areas of Adamawa State. Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, has obtained a significant lead.

The PDP emerged victorious in Lamurde, Gerei, Shelleng, Guyuk, Toungo, Ganye, Mayo-Belwa, Song, Demsa, Fufore, and Yola South.

On the other hand, Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) won in Numan. In Atiku Abubakar’s home state of Adamawa, the PDP has secured a total of 213,117 votes so far, with the All Progressives Congress (APC) coming in second with 99,898 votes, followed by the Labour Party (LP) with 56,857 votes, and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) with 3,609 votes.
