Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), emerged victorious at President Muhammadu Buhari’s polling unit in Daura, Katsina State, Nigeria. Tinubu also won the polling units of Hadi Sirika, the Minister of Aviation, and Ahmed El Marzuq, the APC National Legal Adviser, both located in Daura.
At Buhari’s unit, Tinubu received 215 votes, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 51 votes and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) got 37 votes. In the senatorial election, the APC received 184 votes, the PDP 51 votes, and the NNPP 4 votes. For the House of Representatives, the APC got 236 votes, the PDP 51 votes, and the NNPP 4 votes.
At Sirika B’s polling unit, Tinubu got 67 votes, while Atiku received 29 votes. In the Senate, the APC got 67 votes, and the PDP got 35 votes, while in the House of Representatives, the APC got 63 votes, and the PDP got 42 votes.
At El Marzuq’s polling unit, Tinubu received 127 votes, while Atiku got 68 votes, and Kwankwaso got 31 votes. The APC also won the National Assembly elections, receiving 162 votes for the Senate and 180 votes for the House of Representatives. The PDP got 58 votes and 42 votes for the two elections, respectively, while the NNPP got 5 and 8 votes, respectively.
