President Buhari announced in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State, that he will continue to support the APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu in the upcoming February 25 elections.

Buhari, who has known Tinubu for over 20 years, stated this at a presidential campaign rally where he also endorsed Tinubu’s running mate, Kassim Shettima, and Governor Abdullahi Sule’s bid for a second term.

Buhari thanked party supporters for attending the rally despite the hot weather and expressed confidence in the party’s victory.

Tinubu, in response, praised Buhari for his contributions to nation building and dismissed rumors of a strained relationship with the President.

Tinubu also promised that under his presidency, Nigeria will overcome challenges and bring a better future for its citizens.

Buhari has so far appeared in Tinubu’s rallies in five states, with the grand finale planned for February 18 in Lagos.

Today in Lafia, Nasarawa State, I delivered my message: VOTE Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria, and VOTE Governor Abdullahi Sule for a 2nd term!
I have known Asiwaju for more than 20 years; he is a committed Nigerian; he will give his best to Nigeria! pic.twitter.com/ti2wrJDYjh
