The youth wing of the Afenifere organization, which represents the Yoruba people, and the Coalition for a Better and Brighter Nigeria group, are intensifying their efforts to gather support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
The National President of the Afenifere National Youth Council, Eniola Ojajuni, said that the goal of their grassroots mobilization is to generate five million votes for the LP presidential candidate.
The two-day training organized for various support groups of the Labour Party presidential candidate was held in Jos, the capital of Plateau State. The Afenifere youth leader stated that the organization is partnering with the Coalition for a Better and Brighter Nigeria group to strategize for the victory of Peter Obi in the upcoming election.
The convener of the coalition group, Isa El-Buba, emphasized that the 2023 elections are the last chance to save Nigeria and put it back on the path of progress and development.
He described Peter Obi as the only presidential candidate who has the ability to redeem the country and called on the people to vote for him to make his objectives a reality. El-Buba also criticized the leadership of Tinubu and Atiku and stated that their money will not help them in the upcoming election because Nigerians are wiser.
He called on participants to work towards a goal of 40 million votes to push the Labour Party presidential candidate to victory in the forthcoming election.
