Bola Tinubu, a candidate for president with the All Progressives Congress party, claims that Abia voters owe him their support and dismisses his opponent, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, as a “tenant” in Lagos.
He states that as Mr. Obi’s “landlord,” he is waiting for the presidential election to defeat him.
Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos, continues to exert significant influence in the state.
He urges supporters of the APC party in Abia to ensure the party’s victory in the upcoming February 25th and March 11th elections.
Tinubu is also facing other candidates in the presidential race, including Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party.
Tinubu, who has been accused of corruption and drug trafficking, believes it is his “turn” to be president, despite his frail physical and mental condition raising questions about his ability to lead Nigeria.
