Mogadishu, April 24, 2024 – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency Ambassador Ahmed Maalem Faqi, engaged in discussions today with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Juma’a Al-Ramithi, aiming to bolster bilateral relations between the two nations.
In a diplomatic exchange held at the Ministry’s headquarters in the capital, Mogadishu, Minister Faqi and Ambassador Al-Ramithi delved into strategies to fortify ties and enhance cooperation across various sectors. Representing His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Al-Ramithi conveyed warm felicitations to Minister Faqi on his recent appointment.
