Today, April 23, President Bola Tinubu is poised to commence a diplomatic journey, starting with an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
At the invitation of Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, President Tinubu will engage in high-level discussions with the Prime Minister and hold separate meetings with His Royal Majesty, King Willem-Alexander, and Queen Maxima, who serves as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).
During his time in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will participate in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum, facilitating collaboration and partnerships between conglomerates and organizations from both nations, with a focus on agriculture and water management for sustainable farming practices.
Moreover, discussions will revolve around leveraging Dutch expertise in port management operations, renowned globally for its efficiency.
After concluding his engagements in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will proceed to attend a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, scheduled for April 28-29.
Themed “Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development,” the WEF meeting will convene over 1,000 leaders from business, government, and academia. President Tinubu aims to utilize this platform to advance his Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigeria through discussions on various fronts.
Accompanying the President will be several ministers and senior government officials, highlighting the significance and breadth of the diplomatic mission.
