Russian Ambassador Anatoly Antonov reaffirmed Russia’s steadfast stance despite terrorist acts and Western hybrid warfare attempts. Speaking to TASS, Antonov dismissed any notions of altering Russia’s foreign policy in response to external pressures.
Antonov unequivocally stated, “I want to say no change of the foreign policy, the course of President Vladimir Putin, particularly after elections – nothing will take place.” He remained resolute in the face of recent terrorist attacks, including the incident at Crocus City Hall, asserting that such assaults would not sway Russia’s trajectory.
Attributing the escalation to Western actions, Antonov pointed out that it was the West that initiated the hybrid war with Russia. “If they chose their line aimed at undermining Russia, at strikes against Russia, with the aid of Ukraine in this case, now – this is their choice,” he remarked. Antonov also warned against further support to Ukraine, declaring that any supplies sent would meet destruction.
