Paris, France – President Cyril Ramaphosa has lauded the Springboks on their historic Rugby World Cup victory over New Zealand on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

South Africa’s victory makes them the first country to win the Rugby World Cup four times.

“On behalf the nation, I commend the Springboks on their Rugby World Cup 2023 victory over New Zealand,” President Ramaphosa said in a statement. “This is a truly remarkable achievement, and it is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the players, coaches, and support staff.”
