Dr. Ayodele Odusola, the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in South Africa, will be departing for a new assignment in Zimbabwe. In a farewell letter, Odusola expressed his gratitude to the people and partners of UNDP South Africa for their unwavering support and collaboration.

“Serving in South Africa has been an honor,” Odusola wrote. “Working alongside you all has been an incredible privilege and a source of great inspiration. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones in our shared pursuit of sustainable development and positive change.”

Odusola highlighted some of the key achievements of UNDP South Africa during his tenure, including empowering marginalized communities, fostering innovation for inclusive growth, and supporting COVID-19 and flood disaster recovery efforts.
