The Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Feral Oruҫkaptan, engaged in a productive courtesy meeting with Hon. Jenelly Matundu, Namibia’s Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation on July 6th, 2023. The discussions focused on evaluating the strong bilateral cooperation between the two nations and exploring avenues for further enhancement.

During the meeting, Hon. Matundu expressed gratitude to the Turkish Ambassador for the valuable support provided to Namibia through Türkiye’s Development Cooperation Agency (TIKA) in key sectors, including education, water, and health. This assistance has played a crucial role in uplifting Namibia’s development efforts.

The Hon. Deputy Minister congratulated the Turkish Embassy for their successful collaboration with the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) in hosting a virtual business forum. The event facilitated meaningful connections between business individuals from both Namibia and Türkiye, fostering economic ties and opening up new opportunities for cooperation.
