The UAE has criticized Sweden for disregarding its international responsibilities and demonstrating a lack of respect for social values. The ministry emphasized the importance of monitoring hate speech and expressions of racism, which negatively impact peace and security. Additionally, the UAE rejected the use of freedom of expression as justification for such heinous acts.
Ayesha Bin Suwaidan Al Suwaidi, Director of the European Affairs Department at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, delivered the protest note to the Swedish Ambassador. The UAE reaffirmed its rejection of practices that undermine security and stability, emphasizing the importance of upholding human values and principles.
