Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Ms. Candith Mashego-Dlamini, engaged in a significant meeting today with Sheik Shakhboot Al Nahyan, the Minister of State of Foreign Affairs in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The meeting marked the 3rd Session of the South Africa-UAE Joint Commission, held in Abu Dhabi, UAE’s capital.

The purpose of this high-level meeting was to strengthen the bilateral relations between South Africa and the UAE and explore avenues for enhanced cooperation across various sectors. Deputy Minister Mashego-Dlamini and Minister Sheik Shakhboot Al Nahyan engaged in fruitful discussions, reflecting the shared commitment of both nations to deepen their partnership.

During the meeting, the ministers exchanged views on a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including trade, investment, culture, and tourism. They explored opportunities for expanding economic ties and promoting people-to-people exchanges between South Africa and the UAE.
