In an official Facebook post, the US Embassy in Eswatini proudly introduces Wezizwe Ginindza as one of the distinguished Mandela Washington Fellows for the 2023 Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Program. Wezizwe will pursue a course in Leadership in Business at Clark Atlanta University, marking a significant milestone in her promising career.

Wezizwe is a passionate entrepreneur and a dedicated program coordinator at a not-for-profit organization in Eswatini. Currently, she holds the esteemed position of founder and director at My Coils (Pty) Ltd., a renowned manufacturer and distributor of organic hair care products. With her entrepreneurial drive, Wezizwe has successfully established her brand and contributed to the thriving business landscape.

Alongside her entrepreneurial pursuits, Wezizwe has worked extensively as a program coordinator, collaborating with a group of women to plan and execute impactful community outreach programs, including fundraising initiatives. Her primary focus has been on empowering adolescent girls and young women in Eswatini through educational endeavors in wealth creation and self-help projects.

Wezizwe’s academic achievements are equally impressive, holding a Master’s degree in Social Science with a specialization in Industrial and Economic Sociology. Professionally, she is driven by the belief in the transformative role women and youth can play in Eswatini’s socioeconomic development, particularly through leadership in business and entrepreneurship. She emphasizes that while most businesses prioritize the bottom line, My Coils strives to merge financial success with community development.
