Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently organized a farewell reception to honor the successful completion of the tenure of the Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Geoffrey Onyeama, and the Honorable Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Amb. Zubairu Dada. The event took place at the Ministry on May 25, 2023.

The reception, attended by distinguished guests, was graced by the presence of Directors-General from various departments including the NIA (National Intelligence Agency) and DTCA (Directorate of Technical Cooperation in Africa). Additionally, members of the Diplomatic Corps and other esteemed dignitaries were in attendance to bid farewell to the outgoing ministers.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its gratitude for the dedicated service rendered by H.E. Geoffrey Onyeama and Amb. Zubairu Dada during their tenure. The farewell reception served as an opportunity to acknowledge their valuable contributions to Nigeria’s foreign affairs and diplomatic endeavors.

The event not only commemorated the ministers’ accomplishments but also provided a platform for staff members of the Ministry to express their appreciation and bid farewell to their esteemed leaders.
