President Biden designates delegation for Tinubu’s inauguration in Nigeria

ABUJA, Nigeria – President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. has announced the appointment of a distinguished Presidential Delegation to attend the upcoming inauguration of His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu on May 29, 2023, in Abuja, Nigeria. Led by the Honorable Marcia L. Fudge, Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, the delegation comprises esteemed members representing various departments and agencies of the U.S. government.

The delegation, handpicked by President Biden, underscores the significance of the event and signifies the strong bilateral ties between the United States and Nigeria.   9. The Honorable Monde Muyangwa – Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Africa, U.S. Agency for International Development.

The presence of such a high-level delegation demonstrates the commitment of the United States to bolstering diplomatic ties with Nigeria and further strengthens the existing partnership between the two nations.
