At the grand opening of the G-Style showroom and launch of the All-New GS8 series vehicle in Abuja, Chief Diana Chen, Chairman/CEO of Choice International Group Ltd, the distributor of JMC and GAC vehicles in Nigeria, announced that GAC Motors has sold over 10,000 vehicles in different parts of Nigeria since it was established in 2014.
Chen spoke about the inconsistent policies that have impacted their sales in Nigeria, stating that GAC Motor is a leading automobile manufacturer in the country and has made significant strides since their arrival. She highlighted that CIG operates in diverse industries, including automobiles and industrial and domestic home appliances.
Chen revealed that the company sold 1,706 cars in Nigeria in 2022 and 2.5 million globally. Currently, GAC Motor’s showrooms in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt provide a unique experience for automobile enthusiasts in Nigeria, showcasing the latest and greatest from GAC Motor. The company hopes to expand its operations in the country in the years to come.
Chen also mentioned GAC Motors Nigeria’s position as a key player in the country’s automobile industry, partnering with Lagos State for the Ogba factory & 1000 Lagride vehicles, and various state governments across the nation to bring the best of Nigeria to the showroom.
