The U.S. Embassy in Eswatini has congratulated 19 young entrepreneurs who graduated from the BizInnovator Entrepreneurship Educational Program at the Mbabane American Corner last Thursday.
The program, which was funded by a $10,000 grant from the American Spaces program, was led by a team of facilitators led by YALI alumnae Dorcas Lukoji and Bertha Sithole.
The program taught participants valuable business skills such as problem-solving, branding, and leadership.
“The Embassy believes in the power of young minds to shape the future, and these graduates are the embodiment of that potential,” the embassy said in a statement.
“As we celebrate their accomplishments, let us also recognize the importance of supporting them in their journey. Together we can empower a new generation of game-changers who will shape our world for the better.”
The graduation ceremony was attended by representatives from the U.S. Embassy, the Mbabane American Corner, and the Eswatini government.
The graduates are now equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to start and grow their own businesses. They are also part of a growing network of young entrepreneurs who are committed to making Eswatini a better place.
