Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Hon. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, joined forces with H.E. Elias Magosi, the Executive Secretary of SADC, in a crucial meeting with SADC Ambassadors. The Ambassadors are part of the Troika of the Organ on Politics, Defence, and Security, Force Intervention Brigade Troop Contributing Countries, and representatives from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This high-profile gathering follows the recent conclusion of the Quadrupartite Summit in Angola on June 27, 2023.

The meeting, held on June 29, 2023, served as a platform for extensive consultations between the SADC leaders and the Ambassadors, representing the diverse array of countries involved in the Troika and the DRC. This powerful assembly included representatives from the DRC, Malawi, Tanzania, South Africa, and Zambia.

At the heart of the discussions were crucial regional priorities, centered around political, defense, and security matters. The SADC leaders and Ambassadors sought to foster cooperation, address shared challenges, and promote peace and stability in the region.
