On March 20, Francophones celebrate their language and cultural diversity. The Group of Francophone Ambassadors in The Hague organized a celebration for the International Day of La Francophonie, with support from various organizations.

The event’s theme was “Francophonie without borders” and took visitors on a cultural trip to six countries of the Francophonie. Each country presented a typical cultural activity that showcased the linguistic and cultural diversity that enriches the Francophone Movement.

The celebration was attended by representatives from Rwanda, France, Armenia, Morocco, Tunisia, Romania, and Wallonia, as well as visitors from various backgrounds. H.E. Mr. Slim Ghariani, Ambassador of Tunisia and President of the Group of Francophone Ambassadors, delivered the welcome address and expressed his joy to celebrate the occasion together.

Tunisia, which currently chairs the Mouvement de la Francophonie, attaches great importance to the celebration of this Day.
