According to Anadolu News Agency, Azerbaijan has announced plans to open a diplomatic office in Ramallah, which Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki welcomed during a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov.

Al-Maliki expressed his hope that the representation will be elevated to the level of an embassy soon. He added that this move will enhance cooperation between Palestine and Azerbaijan in various fields and contribute to strengthening relations between the two countries.
