Southern African and European leaders convened in Harare, Zimbabwe, on March 15, 2025, for a Ministerial Partnership Dialogue aimed at strengthening ties and advancing shared priorities.
The discussions covered peace and security, sustainable development, climate action, environmental protection, trade, and investment. Both sides acknowledged ongoing cooperation and explored ways to enhance collaboration in these critical areas.
Zimbabwe’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Prof. Amon Murwira, co-chaired the meeting alongside Poland’s Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski. Officials from both blocs reflected on successful partnerships, including financing agreements that have supported key SADC regional programs.
