Deputy Prime Minister Thulisile Dladla has launched the training of 300 enumerators tasked with collecting data for the National Dynamic Social Registry (NDSR), also known as “Imbeleko.” The training, held at Shiselweni 11 Inkhundla, marks the beginning of an effort to gather socio-economic data from 15 Tinkhundla in the Shiselweni region.
The training of 50 enumerators will run until March 7th, 2025. Following this, pre-testing of the survey tool will take place, and the full data collection process will run from March 17th to April 11th, 2025. This project is a collaboration between the Ministry of Economic Planning and Development and the Royal Science and Technology Park (RSTP).

DPM Dladla urged emaSwati in the affected Tinkhundla to cooperate with the enumerators, who will be collecting household data to improve government services. The NDSR will help the government identify vulnerable households and ensure more efficient and targeted social protection programs.
