Mozambique’s President, Daniel Chapo, has appointed Aquilasse Manda as the new Deputy Commander-General of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM). The announcement, made through a presidential dispatch, comes after the dismissal of Fernando Tsucana from the position.
Manda, who was previously serving as Deputy Police Commissioner, has been promoted to Police Commissioner as part of the appointment. The changes are expected to strengthen leadership within the PRM as the country continues to focus on law enforcement and security matters.
