Nairobi, Kenya – Kenya’s Acting Deputy Director-General of Foreign Service, Mr. Abdishakur Hussein, on Monday hosted Qatar’s Ambassador, H.E. Mohammed Mutair Al-Enazi, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nairobi.
Discussions during the meeting centered on enhancing trade and investment ties between Kenya and Qatar. The talks also addressed skilled labor migration, focusing on opportunities for Kenyan nurses and teachers to work in Qatar, as well as upcoming high-level diplomatic visits.
Mr. Hussein briefed the ambassador on Kenya’s preparations to host the World Chambers Federation (WCF) Summit in Nairobi from April 9-11, 2025. He urged Qatari business representatives to participate in the summit and explore investment opportunities in Kenya during their visit.
