Mbabane, Eswatini – October 23, 2024 – The Coordinating Assembly of Non-Governmental Organisations (CANGO) today hosted a feedback meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Health, Program Officials, and National AGYW Implementing Partners. The session was part of an ongoing exchange of knowledge and best practices facilitated by the South-South Learning Network.
Delegates from Tanzania, who have been visiting various Tinkhundla areas where the AGYW program is implemented, shared their positive observations and recommendations during the meeting. They highlighted the significant impact the program is making on the lives of young women by providing essential health services, educational opportunities, and empowerment initiatives.
Inspired by the successes witnessed in Eswatini, the Tanzanian delegation expressed their keen interest in adapting and implementing similar strategies in their own AGYW programs.
