Lusikisiki, South Africa – A horrific mass shooting incident occurred in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa on Saturday, September 28, resulting in the deaths of 17 people. The incident took place in two separate homes in the village of Lusikisiki.
Among the victims were 15 women and two men. In one home, 13 people were killed, while four others were murdered in a separate homestead. The motive behind the attacks remains unknown.
South African police have launched a manhunt for the perpetrators of these heinous crimes. The country has one of the highest murder rates globally, with approximately 20,000 homicides reported annually.
