Dubai, UAE – Eswatini’s Minister of ICT, Savannah Maziya, represented the Kingdom at the Dubai AI & Web3 Festival, joining a prominent panel discussion on “Sovereign AI: How a National Constraint Can Be Turned into a Global Opportunity.”

The festival, which gathers experts and innovators in artificial intelligence and Web3 technologies, served as a platform for countries and tech leaders to exchange ideas and explore opportunities in digital transformation. Eswatini’s presence highlighted the country’s growing commitment to harnessing technology for national development.

Central to Eswatini’s digital agenda is the Eswatini Digitalisation Strategy known as “Government in Your Hand.” The initiative seeks to make government services more accessible through a web portal, mobile apps, and self-service platforms. It also aims to draw in tech talent and spur innovation, creating fresh economic opportunities for emaSwati.
