Kenya, Portugal Seek to Deepen Ties

Nairobi, Kenya – The Kenyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today that the Portuguese Ambassador to Kenya, Her Excellency Ana Filomena Rocha, has met with Ambassador Diana Kiambuthi, Deputy Director General of the Europe and Commonwealth Directorate.

During their discussions, the two diplomats explored ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Kenya and Portugal. Key areas of focus included collaboration in the Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs, as well as enhancing cooperation in Air Transportation and Tourism.

Ambassador Kiambuthi assured the Portuguese Ambassador of the Kenyan government’s unwavering commitment to fortifying ties with Portugal.
