New Indonesian Ambassador Presents Credentials to Lesotho’s King

The Ambassador of The Republic of Indonesia to The Kingdom of Lesotho, His Excellency Mr. Saud Purwanto Krisnawan, presented his Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Letsie III, at the Royal Palace in Maseru on 1 August, 2024. He succeeds His Excellency Mr. Salman Al Farisi who completed his tour of duty on 24 January, 2022. MASERU, Aug. 1 — Indonesian Ambassador Saud Purwanto Krisnawan presented his Letters of Credence to King Letsie III at the Royal Palace in Maseru on August 1, 2024. Krisnawan takes over from Salman Al Farisi, who completed his term on January 24, 2022.

Krisnawan will conduct diplomatic affairs from Pretoria, South Africa. Indonesia, with its robust economy and advanced infrastructure, has maintained a friendly relationship with Lesotho since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1993. The two countries continue to share a mutual respect and common values.
