Nigeria Police Rescue 10 Pregnant Women from Baby Factory

Uyo, Akwa Ibom – The Nigeria Police said it rescued 10 pregnant women from a baby factory in Akwa Ibom, a state in the South-South geopolitical zone of the country. The Commissioner of Police in the state, Waheed Ayilara who disclosed this while briefing newsmen at the Police Headquarters, Ikot Akpanabia in Uyo, the state capital on Tuesday, said the facility is operated by a 56- years-old suspect, Eunice Eze.

Ayilara claimed that the suspect also runs another baby factory in the World Bank estate in Owerri, the state capital of Imo State located in the South-East geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The Commissioner of Police stated that the suspect was in Owerri on July 15, at 4:30pm (Nigerian time) through actionable intelligence.

According to him, the suspect specializes in abducting babies and pregnant women from Akwa Ibom through her accomplice, Ability Tom.
