Ondo, Nigeria – Homaj International Secondary School emerged victorious at the inaugural Motun’s Handwriting Competition and Award Ceremony. The event, held on June 25th, 2024, was organized by the Dorcas Omotunde Oluwole Educational Foundation to celebrate the art of handwriting amongst students in Ondo State.
Homaj students Adebayo Abiodun, Owoseni Blessing, Robinson Henry, and Augustine Benedicta impressed the judges with their exceptional penmanship and skill. The competition theme, “YOUR WRITING, IT’S ESSENCE AND YOU,” resonated with the students, who showcased their dedication to both penmanship and academic excellence.
“We are incredibly proud of our students’ accomplishment,” said Mr. Kayode Akinmoladun, Principal of Homaj Secondary School. “This recognition is a testament to our commitment to fostering talent and academic achievement.”
The competition brought together students from various secondary schools in Ondo East and West Local Government Areas, fostering a spirit of friendly competition and academic growth. The Foundation’s Executive Director, Barrister Oluwole Akintokunbo, and Programme Coordinator, Ven. (Dr.) Taiwo Akintade, applauded all participants for their enthusiasm and encouraged them to continue refining their writing skills.
